What you will do
We will pick you up at your hotel early in Panama City, for a Jungle FreshWater fishing experience in the Panama Canal, out of Gamboa. Get ready to chase lovely fish, and also observe white-face monkeys, howler monkeys, Geoffroy’s tamarins, and a lot more! Not only you’ll have fun fishing but you’ll also see and learn a lot about the local flora and fauna. In addition, you’ll see transiting ships in the Panama Canal and Chagres River. We will make sure you enjoy your trip and have the best chance of landing a catch. The waters are calm, so seasickness shouldn’t be a problem. If you’re comfortable with wildlife and getting wet, think no further and book today! The boat you’ll use is a restored 24’ fiberglass locally-made classic boat powered by a 55 HP Yamaha engine. It can fit up to 5 anglers. You and the captain will be targeting Peacock Bass, Jack Crevalle, Snook and tarpon, by trolling, spinning, and popping on light tackle. You’re welcome to keep the fish you catch as well as bring kids on your trip. We provide standard fishing rods, reels, and tackle along with lures and/or minnows and ice coolers to keep your catch.
