A sensory and educational immersion into the world of Panamanian coffee:

  • Welcome and Introduction Begin your journey with a dynamic introduction to the world of coffee. Discover the unique varieties cultivated in Panama and the post-harvest processing methods that give them their distinctive character.
  • Hands-On with Green Coffee: Shelling and Sorting Get involved! You’ll handle green coffee beans—from robust Robusta to delicate Geisha—shelling, sifting, and sorting them by origin and quality.
  • Quality at Stake: Measuring Moisture Content Learn how moisture content affects the taste and preservation of coffee. Use professional tools to measure humidity and understand its role in quality control.
  • Roast Your Own Coffee Experience the magic of roasting. From green bean to cup, follow the roasting curve, discover how aromas develop, and create your own roast profile.
  • Brew Like a Barista: Aeropress and V60 Get introduced to two iconic methods of specialty coffee preparation. Compare results, refine your technique, and explore how each method reveals unique aromas in your cup.

Things to know

Guest Requirements

  • Each session is limited to 6 participants to ensure a personalized and engaging experience.

  • Two sessions are available from Wednesday to Friday:

    • Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Ideal for children aged 8 and up, accompanied by an adult. Children can participate in selected activities such as bean sorting and coffee preparation (excluding the use of hot equipment).

  • Activity level: Light

  • Skill level: Beginner
