Fishing in the Jungle and Monkey Island

What you will do

Start your day early at 7:00 AM in Gamboa (about 45 minutes from Panama City) and embark on an unforgettable journey where fishing meets wildlife exploration! Cast your line in the calm waters of Lake Gatun and the Panama Canal, surrounded by lush tropical scenery. Target exciting species like Peacock Bass, Jack Crevalle, Snook, and Tarpon using light tackle techniques such as trolling, spinning, and popping.

As you fish, immerse yourself in nature and encounter incredible wildlife, including white-faced capuchins, howler monkeys, and Geoffroy’s tamarins, along with a rich variety of local flora and fauna. Plus, enjoy the unique sight of massive ships transiting through the Panama Canal—a truly one-of-a-kind backdrop for your adventure.

Your vessel is a 24’ fiberglass classic boat, powered by a 55 HP Yamaha engine, comfortably accommodating up to 5 anglers. We provide everything you need: rods, reels, tackle, lures or minnows, and ice coolers for your catch. Kids are welcome, and you’re free to keep the fish you land.

With calm waters and expert guidance, seasickness is rarely an issue. If you love nature, wildlife, and the thrill of fishing, this is the experience for you. Book today and create lasting memories in the heart of Panama’s jungle!
